    explorer.exe bad image


    Whenever is right click sometimes I got an error message saying this.
    explorer.exe bad image-error.png

    This started yesterday.What should I do?

    Try this first, open a command prompt with admin privileges and enter the following command, press the Enter key after typing the command.
    SFC /SCANNOW
    Please note there is a blank space before the slash.

    Check the file size; is it zero (0) bytes? If so, rename the extention from ".dll" to something like ".old" then test to see if the problem is resolved.

lately, i've been looking for a way to change the normally white background image of windows explorer to an image of my own. i have found the usual methods for both XP and VISTA ineffective for 7. has anyone else had any luck in accomplishing this? any ideas? :]
