    Plus I have a 4.24 MB folder on the other partition of the drive, named 6ff39551a463d69f03d0af680bc5c760 ......what does that mean?

    They are files from Windows Updates...

    Thanks for the reply.

    Should I do the following:

    Code:
    It's more than likely a leftover from an update and wasn't cleaned properly by the installer.
    
    Try this:
    
    Right-click the offending folder, and then click Properties.
    
    Click the Security tab followed by Advanced.
    
    Click Owner then Edit and set the ownership to yourself.
    
    Check Replace Owner on Sub-containers and Objects then click OK.
    
    You should now be able to delete the offending folder.
    
    It might pay you to create a restore point first, just in case.
    PS: I have disabled Restore points.
