The newly released (today) final version of TuneUp Utilites 2010 which is W7 compatible, has an icon rebuild/repair utility in it. I believe you can download a fully functional free trial of this application and give it a try.

My Steam icon (steampowered.com) shows up as a Counter-Strike Source icon and when right clicked on shows options for CSS instead of Steam. Is there a cleaning that needs to happen so that whatever got mixed up can be fixed?

So I thought I had a very simple systray bar, but when I opened the notification area under taskbar properties, windows 7 saved up the systray icons for previous (unwanted) programs as well. I know I can just hide the icons, but is there any way I can permanently delete systray icons for past items...
