    Mouse Problem

Has anyone else found that the "Snap To" under Mouse/Pointer Options doesn't work? Or does anyone know how to get it to work? It worked fine in XP and I have tried in W7 with old mouse and with a new one but it doesn't work. Not a major problem but I would like to get it to work.

    Hello mbannon,

Welcome to Seven Forums. Works fine here. Have you got the latest driver for your mouse?

Thanks Gary - Yes, I have downloaded the latest drivers twice and installed and uninstalled about three times. I even tried it with the previous software from Logitech.
The strange thing is that it doesn't work even with the Logitech software uninstalled. I know that the driver is still on the computer after I uninstall the Logitech software. I wonder if I could uninstall the driver, which came with W7, and then check if the generic mouse drivers work. Can I assume the the actual Logitech driver is included with their "SetPoint 4.80" software that is downloaded from here?
Logitech > Support + Downloads > Downloads > Mice > MX? 1100 Cordless Laser Mouse
I don't want to uninstall the driver that came with W7 then not be able to reinstall one.

Well, that's strange. It seems to be working now (out of the blue). It works in Notepad if you go File/Save - jumps to Save or if you go File/Print - jumps to Print. BUT(!) if you try to close Notepad without saving, the pop-up asks you if you want to save the file but the cursor doesn't jump to Save. It also doesn't jump to the Yes button if something needs Administrator's permission. Very strange. This is why I didn't think it was working - it doesn't work on everything and I was checking with the wrong things.

Doesn't work for me either if I close Notepad without saving. It doesn't work for the UAC prompt by design.

    Mouse Snap to option

Mine doesn't work either. I noticed it with my Yahoo mail and other Internet sites.
What is recommended to get the mouse working correctly?

Mine seems to work. It seems that for those that do not have it working, will have to look into the problem if interested.
