Troubleshoot problems-Problem

Hi,

My internet connection gets disconnected sometimes so I click on Troubleshoot problems in Windows 7 and it gets fixed when the troubleshooter resets the Local area connection, but now something happened and "Troubleshoot problems" doesn't do anything and to fix this problem I have to manually in the "Network and Sharing Center" disable local Area Connection and enable again.

Is there any way to fix or set up Windows Troubleshooter problems to do this fixing by itself?

What driver are you using the the wireless device? I don't see any Windows 8 drivers on the ASUS web site for you motherboard.

It is Windows 7 Ultimate x64 and there is
  • Marvell Yukon Gigabit Ethernet Driver V11.10.5.3 for 32/64bit Windows 7.(WHQL) and
  • ASUS WiFi-AP V2.2.0.27 for Windows 7 32/64-bit
in Motherboards - P5K Deluxe/WiFi-AP - ASUS ?

If you're connected to a hotspot or domain network, contact the network administrator. Otherwise: 1. Unplug or turn off the device. 2. After all the lights on the device are off, wait at least 10 seconds. 3. Turn the device on or plug it back into the power outlet. To restart a router or modem that has a built-in battery, press and quickly release the Reset button.

Why "Reset the "Local-Area Area Connection'" adapter - Not run "?
On another computer "Troubleshoot problems" is doing this automatically, and right away I'm getting connection back.

Update or reinstall the Realtek network driver.

Change the ethernet cable.

If you're using a router, plug directly into the modem to see if it replicates problem.

If these fail try to flush DNS.

Hi,
Really, I don't want to fix this problem. What I honestly need is to make a Window Troubleshoot problems fix this automatically (disconnect and connect back Internet adapter). This is what exactly is happening when this problem appeared on another computer.

Hi,

In my laptop when something like this happens, I press "Troubleshoot problems" and automatically is finding a problem and reset the "Local Area Connection" adapter.
Is there any chance to setup something to make my desktop computer Windows to do the same?

When you've completed the steps I gave you which you said you don't want to follow, then we'll look at other choices. The Troubleshooter either works or it doesn't. If it's not working here then you have other problems.
