Imapi Service Missing

I can't burn a CD because I get a prompt about my Imapi Service. "Could Not Obtain Drive Capabilities from IMAPI". I looked in Services and did not see Imapi. I got a new DVD drive a couple weeks ago and today was the first time I tried to burn a CD. I am guessing the new drive is when things when wrong. I can play CD, but not burn. Could you steer me on the correct path. If missing how do I get it back or else I am looking in the wrong place. Thanks,

Never mind. --- Windows 7 does not have a IMAPI Service. The problem was that my old XP burning program was looking for the IMAPI which was in XP, but not in Windows 7. Not sure why it worked for the last five years with Win 7, but it decided to stop working now. Time for a new music burning program. Thanks,
