Seven asks whether to run startup apps EVERY TIME

Whenever it starts there are some windows asking whether to run certain Intel tray apps. How to disable that? Just in case, turning off UAC has no effect.

    Hi Funnycat,

    Try using the task scheduler,

    http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/13...eate-task.html

    Create task,
General tab, Give task a name, put tick in box Run with highest privileges
Triggers tab, New, Begin the task at Log on
Actions tab, New, Action start a Program, Browse to program .exe then click on ok, ok Done

Remember to disable the other autostart methods

I'm not so sure about the task scheduler since it wasn't me who added the apps, but the Intel installation. Should I probably try to take ownership of the apps?

I thought you were talking about things you have installed, you will have to tell me more so that I can help further

Okay, all I did was actually just install Intel 915GM drivers which apparently have some daemons like the taskbar icon. And now 7 asks for my confirmation on launching them every time it starts.

Ok in this case I would just disable the icon as I see no reason for it to be running all the time.
