login screen is completely black with the mouse cursor

    after i did a couple system recoverys everything is slower to going to log in page from black screen login and even starting up programs. Now i just need to wipe my computer fresh start. Id like that but i dont want to have to go through reinstalling windows i dont have a disk for it what do I do

    Hi -- Let's try this. I hope you have a way to download a file and make a Windows 7 Disk. Go to this link Windows 7 Direct Download Links, Official Disk Images from Digital River You will need to go half way down the page to get to yours. Make sure the language is English and you are looking for Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. The file number is == X17-58997.iso == Download the file and burn it to a DVD at the slowest rate you can to make sure it burns true. Before we do a Clean Install, I want to try a Repair Install After you have the DVD made, put it in the DVD drive and boot. You will come to a screen that says Repair Install. Run that and let me know if anything changes. Good Luck == The Repair Install will NOT change any of your Personal Files.
