Hello, I would start by running a repair on Office.

Click Start> run> type 'control.exe'

Check that the view by 'small icons' is selected in the top right.

Click on Programs and Features. Find Microsoft Office 2010, right click and select change. Follow the wizard and select the Repair option.

Yep, if I'd known it was in control panel I would have gone straight to it, however, have followed ur instructions and all I get when I right click on MS Office is UNINSTALL, no other commands listed??? Sorry don't mean to sound ungrateful here...... in fact there is a few words after, it actually say's: 'MS Office Click-to-Run 2010' which seems a little strange?
