i already told you that sfc doesn't work. it says that a scan is scheduled. i've tried everything possible and nothing seems to work.
Never seen that.. what's exact message?

I message that is possible is: "There is a system repair pending which requires reboot to complete."
    But that's not the case?

    Same problem as this -

Force SFC to Run in Windows 7

(of course it doesn't crash on a particular driver)

Please confirm message tells you something like "repair in progress" please.
So nothing about "scan is scheduled".

    Code:
    DISM /image:D:\ /cleanup-image /revertpendingactions
Once this is done you should see some messaging that says:
Reverting pending actions from the image.... The operation completed. Any revert of pending actions will be attempted after reboot.
Reboot your machine and you will now see a new splash screen that says "Reverting pending actions" with a progress indicator

Tried that. Still getting the same message as the one in the thread I listed. Don't see a repair progress bar. Just going to backup my win dir and overwrite it now.

Also for some reason I can't backup the windows directory. It says the disk structure is corrupted and unreadable but scandisc returns no issues.

Command in 24 did nothing. Also when you say reboot - into what? Back into recovery console, or boot up windows regularly? I think i've tried both.

tried copying a bunch of files over from my windows laptop. still getting the same error. i might try rebuilding the bootcache thing after this idk. it feels like everything's pointless now.

where could the problem files be? would it be worth trying to swap out the user profile with the one from my laptop?
