What is a "File Downloader?"

Thank you for allowing me to join your group!

Every time I start up my computer, and several time during the day, I get a pop up that says, File Downloader"...And they recommended that I click to download it. When I clicked to download it, my Anti virus said no. I allowed my Anti Virus to quarantine it....I went to "add and remove programs", in the control panel of my computer; removed "File Downloader", and then rebooted my computer: but that didn't solve the problem. Grrrrrr......LOL...
Can you help me please?
Thanks!
Auntbee

Welcome to the Forums.

Try a complete scan with MBAM. That should get rid of it.
