    Slow bootup

My desktop started taking a long long time to boot up. I used MSconfig.exe and went thru the startup list and stopped everything that I understood to be no necessary. I'v also run malwarebytes and Avast without finding anything. Can you suggest a good program that may speed up the boot? Cheap is good, free is better. Thanks

Soluto will create a map of what is starting up and for how long.

I'd also Run Cleaner and then do the REgistry tab in CCleaner - FileHippo.com
followed by a Boot Time defrag with Full Disk Check which gets to System files using Puran Defrag Free Edition - on the Additional Operations tab check the box for Intelligent Optimizer.

Uncheck everything in msconfig>Startup and >Services tabs (after Hiding All MS Services) except your AV and any synch.

If these don't help then compare the install you have to the perfect install in Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 which compiles everything that works best in Win7.

I looked at the link titled anti-frustrations software and I got a web page that only contained an App for mobile devices. Was there an error in the link?

If you don't want to register for the free version at the link I;ve updated above, then you can download directly just the program but need to do Custom install to avoid the two adwares it will attempt to include. Just select Custom at both steps and uncheck the box for AVG and the other crapware: Download Soluto
