dual boot system (XP & Win 7-64) 7 reboot corrupts disk

Help! I have a dual boot system (XP & Win 7-64) with the Win 7 installed 2nd. I set it up to migrate away from XP.
When I reboot the system from Win 7 it restarts and then immediately upon log-on I get a series of errors that the disk is corrupt (most applications trying to load & error 55 in event viewer). If I restart into win 7, dskchk /f runs as scheduled but is unable to repair the file structure (something about MFT unable to be written to). When I to choose XT from the boot menu Chkdsk /f runs and repairs the disk. At log-in I choose to restart computer and boot into win 7, then it starts up and runs as expected. Except for occasionally it reboots itself (about once a week) with Windows Kernel event ID 41 error "The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first" forcing me to choose XT at boot menu so chkdsk can do itís thing.
I no longer need XT and would like to get rid of it; how can I do that safely without starting over from scratch? Will getting rid of XP solve the chkdsk problem?
I have an identical dual boot system on another computer and it has none of these problems.

Run the following tool, so we can look at the Event Log errors first - the problem will not neccessarily be corrected by removing the XP installation.

1. Download the DM Log Collector application to your desktop by clicking the link below

DM Log Collector.exe

2. Run it by double-clicking the icon on your desktop, and follow the prompts.
3. Locate the .ZIP file that is created on your desktop, and upload it here in your next reply.

I have run SFC /scannow on the affected machine and it found errors that it could not fix. CBS log attached here.

Sorry you were abandoned with no follow up.

While you wait, work through the Troubleshooting steps in my signature pic below. Test the hard drive first with both Maker's diagnostics extended scan and a full Disk Check if necessary done from the Win7 disk Command Line from steps given.

Then run SFC a few more times to see if it will fix the found problems. It also shows in the SFC tutorial how to manually fix the files. If these will not repair then often what works is the Repair Install. All of these are linked to illustrated tutorials in the Troubleshooting tutorial.

Warning - KB3004394 corrupts system files
In today's set of Windows 7 updates there is the above KB that corrupts system files - at least in my system. I immediately noticed that my Magnifier .exe was dead and it also mucked around with my Rocket Dock. When you run the updates, you better deselect or hide that one.
