    Help On Reinstalling Windows Media Player 7


    Hi, my windows media player 7 keeps crashing, i've tried closing other background programs and uninstalling K-Lite codecs from my PC. Is there a way for me to do a reinstallation of media player?

    i'm just thinking it might work...

    Hello RTB,

    Welcome to Seven Forums.

    Control Panel (icons view)>Programs and Features>Turn Windows Features on/off. Click on the plus for Media Features and uncheck WMC and WMP. OK. Then I'd reboot to be sure. Recheck the boxes.
