Yes you can remove Vista, but make sure you have your Seven install disc handy.
Assuming you have two partitions on the hard drive and Vista was installed first, when you remove the Vista partition, you will also wipe out the MBR (which contains the boot data). This will leave you unable to boot Seven.
To rectify this, boot from your Seven disc and select start up repair. This should rebuild your MBR and allow you to boot into Seven again.
However, simply removing the Vista partition will also leave you with unallocated space that cannot be 'reclaimed' (you cannot extend partitions to the left without a 3rd party app like Gparted:http://gparted.sourceforge.net/livecd.php)
There are several other apps that can do the job, some are free, some are not.
How is it set up? Is vista on the same hard drive as win7?
Please complete your hardware specs including the hard drives.
Yes,, vista was installed first (same hard disc) three partitions C: W7 ultimate, D: My Stuff, and E:Vista ultimate.
My system spec. is dysplayed ....
It's not so much your system specs, but how you Hard drive is physically partitioned.
Even though Seven is on "C:" it will not be the first physical partition.
Could you post a screenshot to confirm it's layout:
Right-Click computer > Manage >Storage >Disk Management

I have formated the Vista partition , and delete (vista) enrty with easy BCD.
Seems to be OK now ???
