Problem solved
Thanks to both DavidW7ncus & gregrocker!!
I removed the hard drive, then rebooted with my Windows 7 install USB plugged in. The computer booted the installer, then after the W7 installation program appeared I rebooted without the USB, and the BIOS problem was fixed! I reinserted the HD and now I'm running Windows 7.

Great, glad to hear you got it fixed.

Now you should re-enable Hibernate and set your Power Options to your preferences.

Does the BIOS Still read Resuming System?

Can you look in BIOS setup for a setting similar to Fast Boot or anything to do with Suspend or Hibernate?

No, now BIOS says "Press F2 to enter Setup", and there are no such options.

Who said to change anything? I asked some questions to try to determine what happened. Someone needs to keep track of these anomalies in case they show up again. Do you know any place else where they do this?
