    activate.adobe.com

Hello Folks. Do any of you know what Activate.Adobe.com is ? It appears on my Process Hacker Network list as a local address appended to various other processes such as: mbamservice.exe (1704) also: svchost.exe. (various) yet there is nothing comes up in any search either on my system or on Bing searches.

when I open the 'Network' page in Process Hacker that shows network activity I see Activate.Adobe.com sometimes three or four times in the list as earlier examples I posted.

activate.adobe.com is the address used when Photoshop, After Effects etc calls home to check the validity (or not) of the installation. If that url is blocked in any way, it's a sign of pirated PS.

Hi Jed. Thank-you: I don't quite understand why it does that when I have a kosher CS6 but never-mind, what I really don't get is why there is a connection with MBAM and why there are multiple entries at any given time. One entry, not shown, is from Logitech's SetPoint; so we have connections to that too. I'm lost here.

I wasn't making accusations. Google the phrase and you'll see what I mean re Adobe piracy.
