    Permanently delete files


    Hi.I have a HP Compaq running windows 7 home premium,I have decided to try and sell this laptop as I'm in the process of getting a new laptop running windows 8.1.
    Now my question is how would I delete all my info from this machine documents etc and leave the windows untouched.So that the new owner can turn on and go straight to the windows screen.
    What would be the best way for me achieve this Please.

    The best way would be to reinstall Windows Home Premium, making sure you clean the HDD during the re-installation. This will clear all your information.

I don't send files to Recycle bin, but set to permanently delete files. On different days, I've Run as Admin- Both CCleaner, Win Disk Cleanup (KIS AV disabled until reboot). It says about 1gig of temporary files are deleted, if I scan again that day after a couple of reboots they are gone. ...
