    the normal pound sign icon


    my pound sign icon is this $ and im living in the UK but i carn't get the normal pound sign icon,
    when i loaded windows 7 up it gave me USA UK but there was no united kindom UK so i had to
    have the USA UK. think this is were i went wrong.
    Is there a way for me to use the normal pound sign instead of this $

    You can make it using the Windows alt key codes.

    Windows Alt Key Codes

    Hold down Alt & type 0163 on the number keypad.

When I configure my lan adapter it's connect successfully. I found my workgroup pc . But problem it's showing as a "unidentified network" and a yellow sign is showing on the network icon. What's problem here.
UK Currency Pound sign

I brought a keyboard back from Canada to the UK last year and would like to know how to get the UK pound sign, I have tried all sorts of key combinations without success. jack
Really weird, see attachment.. Tried resetting the icon cache. It's like this on all of my desktop icons.. any ideas?

This is probabley going to be a noob question but my keyboard as no pound sign. How do i isert a pound sign into a text document without a key, ive got dollars and euro,s but no quid:)
