Had a hard crash and no have corrupt system files.

Windows 7 Ultimate x64. I had a totally random crash and a handful of system files became corrupt. Mostly .dll's and a few .exe files. I dont know what they all are, I am only aware of them when I try to complete an operation and an error box pops up. All of the directories seem to point back towards windows system folders. This happened before I got a good system backup, I know im an idiot, and I want to avoid a fresh OS install as I have sooooo much crap already installed replacing it all would take forever. Can anyone help me figure out how to replace the files one at a time as they come up, or figure out how to simply reinstall system files only?

    Thanks!

    Hi and Welcome to SevenFourms,

Have you tried doing a system file check?
       Information
The sfc /scannow command (System File Checker) scans the integrity of all protected Windows 7 system files and replaces incorrect corrupted, changed/modified, or damaged versions with the correct versions if possible.

Read the guide here - SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

I ran the scan about a dozen times and its still not fixed. Should I just keep at it? how many times should it take? If not are there any other option? Any advice is appreciated.
