My first guess would be that he knows your password, or have managed to install a keylogger program to find out what password you type. Check in Control Panel - Programs and Features if you see any newly installed program you don't recognize. And change your password. And do a full scan with your antivirus.

Some laptops have a finger scanner and come with software you can configure to use your finger instead of typing a password. Mine has this and I've set a long and difficult password so even if someone saw me typing it they wouldn't remember it. But with this feature I type this in only ONCE in the finger scanning software, and then I only use my finger. Works very well.
After your account has been changed to a Standard User is your password the same as it was before or does it all of a sudden not have a password set?
Hi guys defo not keylogger, have scanned machine, have looked for installed programs etc. he is using the command line I think and its only taking him a few minutes to change this.
Also have changed password he does not know it and when he changes my account from admin to standard my password is the same still.
Take his laptop privileges away
No way should you be letting him get away with that.
A standard user can enable the hidden user account, then do whatever he wants.

It will not let you unless you do this while logged in an administrator account though to make the changes for the built-in Administrator. You cannot do it from a Standard account.
