how to force windows 7 confirmation before shutdown

    here is my problem

when I close the lid, sometimes when I open the lid it's close and sometimes not (and in the property when lid is closed, on battery or not, I set only to go on screensaver). Those are norma shut down, when I reopen windows, there is no problem

I don't know where the problems come from, and it doesn't matter, I'd only like windows not to shut before I confirmed it .

    thx

Hello abell mate don't know if this might work it does on my laptop if what you want is to keep it running with the lid down and then open up when you raise the lid. If you need to shut down then the usual procedure applies:)

    it worked!

sorry but I wanted to wait to be sure it worked, and not write that it work and 2 days after realising it did not work.

so to summary, when the lid was closed, sometimes it would shut down (normally) but never ask me. Now it doesn't happen anymore, it doesn't shut down, but I never have request to close either

    thx again!!
