Access Denied - what brand of steroids d u suggest?

I need to alter a .ini file but get Access denied on saving. I'm the only user & I'm admin. What dose of steroids do I need plz?

If you are trying to save in any of the protected system folders, as I suspect is your case as most of the INI files are stored in C:\Windows or its subfolders, the easiest way is to run Notepad as administrator and open the INI file in question from Notepad's File > Open menu. As Notepad runs now with built-in administrator rights, you can save to any location.

Alternatively you can save the file on Desktop, then copy & paste it to a system folder. Access will be denied even now, with a small difference: the system allows you to select and use built-in administrator rights to save the file. To do this simply click Continue:
