Pin to start menu or taskbar

    Pin to start menu or taskbar


    There is no pin to start menu or taskbar option in the right click menu, help.

    Could you give us more details on about your problem? For example, what type of file are you right clicking on, what is it's location, etc.....

    I click Start, All Programs, then right click on any program listed with an icon to find no Pin to Start Menu and no Pin to Taskbar. I've recently upgraded from Windows Vista Premium to Windows 7 Premium. I do have the quicklaunch on the taskbar and have room on the Start menu.

    It may be have been a glitch during upgrading. It's usually best to do a clean install to help avoid problems that may pop-up. You can try to see if a repair install may be able to help. If not, then you may need to do a clean install instead.

    Clean Install Windows 7

    or

    Clean Install with a Upgrade Windows 7 Version

    I have both "pin to Start Menu" and "pin to Task Bar" options with right click. I also upgraded from Vista Home Premium to Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit).

    Can you post a screenshot so we're really talking about the same thing?
