Windows 7 - 8 days left to activate? wth?

| | 8 days left to activate? wth? i randomly noticed this today. i thought the beta went till august, can anyone tell me whats going on? ive attached a screenshot |

| | Hello Sidsrvnn, The beta doesn't expire until August, but you still have to activate Windows 7 with the beta product key number to use it until August before the 30-day trial period is over.  If you do not have a Windows 7 beta product key number, then you can still get one from Microsoft from the link below for now. You will need to have cookies enabled, and click on the download for your version to get the key number. Download the Windows 7 Beta Hope this helps, Shawn |

| | You have 30 days to activate from installation date. You should have a product key from Microsoft entered on install. Activate your copy and it should remain working as promised until August. It looks like we will then have the official release the word is no more betas will be released and it will now go to RTM |
