    Running out of disk space on (C:). Can I Delete these Files?

    {360CE349-E4DF-4014-82D2-8097CEA3C035} = 18.4 GB
    (C:)/Users/User-Name/AppData/Local/Temp/{360CE349-E4DF-4014-82D2-8097CEA3C035}

    As I am running out of disk space on the (C:) drive, I would like to know if it is possible
    to empty this file. It has 18.4GB's. Have run the disk clean up tool but this did'nt help.

    Are you using imaging software like Macrium Reflect?
    It could be a temp file used when it backed up your system.

    If not do you have the page file encrypted?

    How old is the file?

    Thank you for your response. After a bit of searching I found that a program named idlecrawler had somehow got into my system. I deleted it via the control panel and then deleted the 20Gb's of files it had created. All is back to normal now.

    Bad program. Many anti-virus products should detect it.
