My Desktop has tumbled over

The other PC Win 7 x64 has 2 problems. A screen problem + I'm considering burning it in the back yard.

Few weeks ago the Win 7 Prem desktop took a 90 left turn. Its laying on its left side & task bar runs up the right hand edge. The screen is an older square one not landscape. I couln'td figure out what was going on so I bought another on eBay. And choice was only another square screen.

So a week into using PC its toppled over again. Doubt it could happen on 2 monitors so must win 7 or other.

Is there anything inside Win 7 software or settings that is amiss??

Check the orientation by right-click on desktop and looking under Screen Resolution
