What are you saying
I see mbamservice uses "a lot" of CPU when I boot or wake a system...
For me, high CPU usage ends after a minute or so - MEH - no big deal ...

The system is still responsive and usable ...
As long as the system is responsive, works, ... I don't care if this service uses 10+ % "when and as needed" ...

Below is a screen print of Malwarebytes Ver 2.0 real-time Task Manager ...
Do you see something totally different ?

Can you post a screen print of what you see causing your issue ?

ok then i'll leave mbam to do its thing. mbamservice.exe starts using the processor to 10% only after i'm afk for a minute or 2. the only difference in my screenshot is that 10% nothing else. here is ss

Set Image as Folder Background (win7)
So I have a folder with quite a few solid white .PNG images that can't be seen against the default white background. So far I have been either.. 1- Highlight (select all)...but then you lose the multi-select functionality. 2 - Move to desktop...then move back (very irritating).. A long...

Win7 Scheduled Tasks
Starting to Deploy Win7Pro and found Task Scheduler different from XP. We run a command that powers systems off at a specific time. The command will shut the system down when no user is logged in and gives a logged in user a pop up cancel window to abort if they're working. I cannot seem...

Switch users while leaving tasks running in the background?
Does FAST SWITCH USER really allow this behavior? I could leave VMWare with Linux running as a server in the background, while allowing other coworkers in the office to use the computer on separate accounts?
