    missing something.. reboot logon screen press ctrl + prtsc. nothing in paint.

    Thats because you are not logged on, don't worry though we meant with a camera.

    I think we have this solved, You need to be an administrator to enable/disable UAC.

    If you are not an administrator then you wont be able to change this :)

    You ask the Administrator to give them to you.

    They are there for a reason, I.E if a laptop or computer is stolen it cannot be wiped and sold on :)

    If you go to the control panel, and View user accounts do you see this?

    Can you post a screenshot of what you see?

    Something about this does not sound right to me either. You do in fact need to be admin to change uac. But that does seem odd for the guest option to be greyed out.
