    Deleting Password

I'm sure this has been asked many times but I couldn't find an answer. When I walk away from the computer and come back in 30 minutes or more and hit Enter I'm prompted to put in my password again. That's most annoying. I went into the Control Panel>User Accounts and Family Safety>User Accounts and there's an option of deleting your password. Would that eliminate the need to sign in on boot up and when walked away?

    Hello David,

If you like, you could still keep your password and set Windows to automatically log on to your account at startup.

    Log On Automatically at Startup

In addition: Password - Require on Wakeup
