    Snipping Tool Screen Captures

This morning on my home PC, I used the snipping tool to make two screen captures. They both had a yellow tint to them. I just did one at my work PC and it did not have a yellow tint. Both are Windows 7, work is Pro and home is HP. Any ideas as to why?

    Hi,
You might repeat and upload a screen shot so we might see if it's yellow on our screens ;/

Which format did you save them in? JPG looks horrible from the Snipping Tool, so try PNG instead.

I've never had any issues with jpeg's with the snipping tool although I usually use png's :/

    Hi,
    Look forward to it,
I would also test with the print screen keyboard shortcut into paint and see if there's difference,
Snipping tool doesn't have many option but you can look at what is available by clicking on the options listing,
Make sure the color is white but this is for outlines not the actual tint which is supposed to be what your snipping so tint is not a preference that can be altered that I know of

We saw a question in customize that an op saw a pink tint color and posted a screen shot supposedly showing it :/ negative

Maybe your graphics card got up from the wrong side of the bed :)
Those Radeon cards seem to be a stick in the mud for allot of Internet explorer graphics issues
    Cheers.

I haven't used JPEG to save snippies for quite some time, but I do remember that whenever I did, I always had lots of artifacts and the quality was just poor compare to PNG. Hence the initial comment
