How do I get all of my pictures to show on my Dell Inspiron N5050?

About a week ago I began noticing online that on different websites and in my pictures folder of my actual laptop (Windows Photo Gallery) I cannot see all of the pictures that are saved on my computer. When I get on Facebook as well, some of the pictures and videos show. The other pictures don't show and videos don't play. It's like that when viewing any of my friends' posts. I think it may be something with my laptop, but not the internet. What can this be and how do I solve it?

    Hi and welcome to SevenForums,
Sounds like you need to get rid of some temp files build up,
Run this and check the boxes for temp files and thumbnails at the least,
    https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/818-disk-cleanup-open-use.html

You can use this to cleanup both browsers,
    Temp files delete,
Run this as administrator and Start the scanner,
Shut your machine down after it finishes,

    Didn't work

Hi sorry it didn't work. I went back and checked the disk cleanup after I restarted and it showed 0 bytes for everything but I still can't see some of the pictures.

When you say "some", is it only Jpg or Gif, Prn or what type of file is it? Does that even matter? What percentage can you not see?

Hi and thanks for the update,
Click the Start button and click on Pictures,
Open a pictures folder and see if you can see thumbnail images here
On the top right next to the question mark are page view options
Pick at least medium icons for the list,

There were about 10 pictures on Windows Gallery Live that I couldn't see which have since been deleted. Now online I'm just going to show a Facebook screen shot to show you how it looks in one of my folders. But this is also how it looks when trying to view some, but not all, of other users pictures and videos. This only began about a week ago. I've cleared the history from both, Chrome and IE, as this happens on both browsers. And I also signed in to FB from my other laptop and the it's doing the same thing. So now I'm not sure if it's a system problem or an online problem. Other people can like and comment on the pictures, yet I can't see them. How do I get all of my pictures to show on my Dell Inspiron N5050?-screen-shot.png

    Thanks,
    Lets see what this does,
    Clean boot,
    https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/179159-troubleshoot-application-conflicts-performing-clean-startup.html

Mcafee is a pretty controversial security suite how long have you had it installed ;/
If no luck using clean boot uninstall Mcafee and use this uninstaller,
How to uninstall or reinstall supported McAfee products using the Consumer Products Removal tool (MCPR)

After uninstall please check your startup programs by clicking Start and type in the search box,
    msconfig
Make sure Mcafee is hopefully not listed and not checked if listed
    Post a screen shot please,

Then go here and download MSE
Microsoft Security Essentials - Microsoft Windows

    After that please test again,
    On Internet explorer only,
    Open it,
Use Gear symbol on the top right and Internet options,
General section/ Delete browser history button,
Uncheck the top box and Check All others and click on Delete.
Close Internet explorer and re-open and test,
You will need to sign back into Facebook....

    Do this on one machine.
