treied the clear text tool no different, using latest ati w7 driver and same display settings with vista which were very clear and sharp.

after installing w7 and the driver found my settings were identical with the settings i had in vista with the same card.

the small dialouge boxes appear as if i am wearing the wrong glasses, yet web pages are very sharp so too is office docs etc

Verify that your screen resolution is set to the required resolution for your monitor.

Well i seen this problem last night and it was becasue the screen resouloution didnt match, make sure your monitor is set at a ratio of 1:1 and theres no zoom.
Do the same on your graphics card.

I dont know what monitor you use,try googling it to be sure.

Usally you have buttons on the front of your monitor, press the menu button and have a look throught the options, resoultion should be there.
