my system window 7 IE 11 ;is set to reopen last open tabs after any reboot etc.
this time due to freeze ; I ended task at task manager thereby all open tabs got lost ;
were told the folder for them should be favorite htm ;how do I find it ???

Is it by design of W7 File Manager (File explorer) that selection is removed when clicking to Explorer right side Window column header, in order to sort by name.
For example:
1. I sort by type, clicking to type column name
2. select all jpeg files
3. I sort by name, clicking to column name...
I accidently copied a file in the wrong direction and when asked if I wanted the fie replaced, replied yes, and the older file version replaced the latest version. When you "replace" a file, does the file space actually get written over, or does it likely remain intact and marked as a deleted file...

I recently installed Microsoft PowerPoint Viewer (2007). I reinstalled it several times. Whenever I want to use it to view a pps, the system never finds it. When I search for it, it shows it as being there. When you look at the properties, it says it is located in the start menu....
