my computer shut off by itself

my computer shuts off when i try to watch a video online, such as utube, u could hear the fan kicking in and than it shuts off. anybody know what could it be????? thanks

Fan kicks in, then shuts down, probably overheating. Check your temps.
Clean out your computer., get rid of all that dust near the fan.
You can use speed fan to check temp

Whenever you download software, be aware of any notices that are given regarding other software that is included. They usually allow you to opt out if not wanted.

I did that, and it worked, but now i have a blank screen. Computer worked fine, but than after shutting it down i turned it on the screen shows up blank and it the tower is not making the same sounds when it loads up. It turns on and thats about it, no loading, no beeping, even the keyboard light doesn't come on. Any ideas????
Anything will be appreciated, Thank you!!!!!!

You may have some damage caused by overheating. I am not as proficient with hardware problems as I am with software.

During the night my virus scan, automatic backup, defrag run. I have the system set on Hybrid Sleep because with sleep mode they do not run. My computer stays on all of the time except for hybrid sleep. Do any of you turn yours off or is it OK just to leave it on 24/7?

My computer is new, maybe a month old, It came with Vista Ultimate and I upgraded it to Windows 7 Ultimate. I did not get any errors during the upgrade and i did run windows advisory prior to be sure my system would work with it and there was no issues flagged when i used advisor. My machine boots...
