    Explorer Navigation Pane default view

    Hi,

My Windows 7 navigation pane view has changed and for some reason the Desktop icon appears at the top of the pane and everything else collapses into it. Libraries, Computer, Home Group and Network all collapse into the Desktop icon in the navigation pane. It didn't used to be like that. In fact originally there was no Desktop icon visible in my navigation pane. Can anyone suggest how to set it back to its' original Windows 7 view?

    Thank you.

Hello Jarnold, and welcome to Seven Forums.

It sounds like may have turned on "Show All Folders" for the navigation pane. Turning it off if you do should sort this for you.

Navigation Pane - Show All Folders

    Hope this helps, :)
