Windows 7 Search Results won't close,or quit

Hey there all... Once my PC boots, Search Results has automatically opened several pages. I click the X to close the windows, and of course they all close. Once I click anything else. Search Results opens yet another several windows again...Search Results. I open task manager to quit the program, and it will quit. Search continuously stays open. I restored to an earlier time, with no result of a fix. I go deeper into task manager and try to kill anything related to Search, but Search manages to turn itself on. Sometimes when I boot up, this does not happen, however,i Search manages to again open several windows. Is there a fix anyone knows of short of a windows re install?
