Activating a key card licence

Thanks Brian I will give that a go because I have just been an hour on the phone with no result from Kaspersky in Melbourne and they are due a fairly strong email from me!!

Apparently one of my Sons mates had to use it John ... Not sure if it was Kaspersky though but he said it should be the same principal ... Should be simple enough to use take a Photo and use the scan App ... Might activate automatically or else give you the Key Code ...

Ok mate found a bar code reader but it reads the code but doesn't tell me anything so I will just have to wait until that mob get back to me.

Oops sorry Brian thought I had posted but I finally got some awful call centre that Kaspersky have set up and it came down to me quoting that ten letter stamp on the card and they emailed me the activation code.
So all fixed - I did try the bar code but it didn't come up with anything mind you the apps for a bar code reader were very numerous and I just picked one at random.
A stupid system I think and one that some info on the packing of that key card could have avoided me having run around looking for an answer. Why the activation code itself is not on the card is a mystery to me as it would be nigh impossible for you or I to see what it was.
