    Boot Priority Problem ( ? )

    Greetings Everyone,First time posting here.

Recently i tried swapping from IDE to AHCI without doing a clean windows installation using a guide found here.My system hangs at Loading operating system.Anyway that is not my problem :)
I reverted to IDE from the bios but my problem is that unless i set USB-CDrom as a the primary Boot device and have my Win7 cd inside, windows won't load and i am stuck again at Loading Operating system ..
Not much of a problem but the usb cd drive is abit noisy and anyway i don't think it is normal to be unable to boot otherwise.

I presume you modified the registry keys to try and use AHCI did you change them back once reverting to IDE boot

Post back a screenshot of Disk Management - Post a Screen Capture Image so we can look at your configuration. Half the time they aren't correct.
