not getting dump file for BSOD

    Hi,

I have a laptop that periodically gets a BSOD (I do not have a screenshot of the error message). I have a minidump folder in the Windows directory, but no dump file appears after a BSOD. Is there any kind of tool that I can run to see if any drivers are outdated or corrupted? Any thoughts/suggestions is greatly apprecaited.

    Thanks

    Hi z3r010,

I have it set to create a dump file when I get a BSOD. There was something in that tutorial about doing a registry edit....will that just create a minidump folder or an actual minidump file? Thank you for your help with this.

    Thanks,
    Kevin
