    Doubleclick Problem

    Hello,

Apparently, I keep getting "Doubleclick" on my PC.
Causing all sorts of mischief and problems.

Per suggestions here, I found it with MalWare Bytes.
    Keeps coming back.

Avast, my virus program does not find it.
    Nor does CC Cleaner.

Any program that you might know of where I can add it to an exclusion list, or prohibit it in some way from infecting PC ?

(if there is a good program for, what exactly would I have to add as to it's name for the exclusion list; e.g., just "Doubleclick, "Doubleclick.txt, or...?)

    Thanks,
    Bob

    Hi,
    Yep doubleclick.net is a bugger,
I've added it to my restricted sites list in Internet explorer so it doesn't come back
Although my a-v or mbam has never found it it's not surprising because I use superantispyware much more often to get rid of these bad cookies,

I'll just add these little buggers really mess up my mouse operation so they have to be removed and added to restricted sites list
    tripleclick/ fastclick/...

Doubleclick is just a simple tracking cookie. It's harmless.

IF you want to block tracking get off the internet or get an extension like ghostery. Nothing can catch everything but it helps.

Superantispyware does a good job as well, so does panda free av.

I doubt doubleclick is causing you "all sorts of problems". It is most likely another type of threat.

We can look into it if you would like.
