Memory Compatability

Hi

I stripped down my old desktop and I am wondering if I can use the recovered memory.

The memory In my current PC is:

8GB Corsair PC3-12800 1600MHz DDR3 Memory (2 x 4GB sticks)

and the recovered memory is:

8GB Corsair XM3 1333MHz DDR3 Memory (2 x 4GB sticks) CMX8GX3M2A1333C9

You can use it but the 1600MHz RAM will only run at 1333MHz. I'd recommend not mixing them to be honest.
