    Windows Essentials 2012 installation stuck

Hello there! I have been trying to install Windows Essentials 2012: Movie Maker for the entire day today. However thou, no matter how many times I try to install-reinstall-reboot-reinstall, the installation process stops at 80%.

Does anybody here experienced the same issue? I could really use some help. Thanks in advance!

    Hi and welcome to SevenForums,
I just downloaded it last night and didn't have any issues with the Custom install of just Movie maker and Photo gallery :/
Is that how you installed it or did you install the entire package ?
    Cheers.

    Hey @ThrashZone..

Yeah, exactly that. I only opted for the Movie Maker and Photo Gallery. Why do you think the installation stops?

    Hi,
Click start and type in the search box.
    uninstall a program
Click on at anytime it appears as a suggestion,
Verify if Microsoft .Net Framework 4.5.1 appears on the list and also these,
    Attachment 338771

    Hi,
One thing that stuck me in the eye was you have Mcafee and Bitdefender antiviruses installed
I personally would Uninstall both and find a better/ more windows friendly security combination
Personally I use MSE and MBAM Premium which Malwarebytes is still available for Allot less than Mcafee costs and is much better at blocking Todays threats

Check out Amazon or Newegg for the Lifetime license version one time payment

As far as Visual studios I would download it after you sort out your security :)
    Just my 2 cents
    Cheers.

    Hey!

Wew! So you think that causes the interruption of the installation? If so, then yeah, I'll take your advice and uninstall both. I'll check on the links that you have provided.
