Hard drives snap into fixed ports on most laptops. Access yours to see. It might be as easy as swapping drives, unless SSD is a chip on the mobo

Okay, I'll open up the back to have a look. But it might take some time before I can do that as I don't want to do it without an anti-static wrist strap, and I have to buy that first.

Safe to delete partition?
I want to delete the recovery partition labeled TOSHIBA SYSTEM INFORMATION. I notice on it, it has a boot.sdi and boot.wim file on it. Are those important? They are from Vista SP1 x32 and I am on 7 x64.
