How to reset an Intl SSD drive to initial factory setup

Hello

I got an 128 GB Intel SSD drive that is laying on the shelf and I'm looking to re-install it to be use to kept data
I just don't succeed to erase all data / partition and to restart it like a new one

Any suggestion on how to do it?

Martin

EDIT:
I probably did something wrong because after following Intel procedure to erase the SSD, it was ak to remove the existing partition. Now, the drive is recognize has a CD-ROM

I did post a new question related to that

You can always also delete all partitions in Disk Mgmt to repartition, which resets the partition table and is normally enough.

But if not then wipe the drive with Diskpart Clean Command to clear old boot code as well as partition table which overcomes most all problems unless the drive is failing. For checking that you'll need the manufacturer's testing tool from its website.
