    Harddiskvolumeshadowcopy confusion

I was checking my SSD usage as I have little left over (all my data is on a HDD) and noticed two entries for harddiskvolumeshadowcopy dated 5/2013 and 8/2014. I didn't know what these were and when I checked properties they indicated that they were 228GB each which is obviously impossible as my SSD is only 120GB. I back up my entire system regularly to an external HDD. I also set an auto restore point each time I boot but I have constrained the available storage for them so they get deleted regularly. Anybody wise me up here?

    Do you use Acronis?

From all I can find its o.k. to delete these using Disk Cleanup, checking the Clean up system restore and Shadow copies box. Hope this helped.

Thank you. I'd forgotten all about disk cleanup. Just dumped 5gb of junk. Well done once again.
