For some odd reason the text in several programs and applications has been changed from normal to italicized. Can someone assist me in returning to normal text. My efforts so far have been unsuccessful.

It would help people to even start to have an idea of how they may help you if you list some helpful information such as which programs/applications are affected, what have you actually tried so far and have you installed any new software lately? Also please fill in your system specs by following the link in my signature.
Thanks to Boozad and ADDRAM for responding -I discovered why the text in Windows text and some applications were italicized.
In a windows Color and Appearance window found in Control Panel>Appearance and Personalization>Personalization>Window Color Custom>Advanced I found a tab and for some odd reason the italiccized box was checked. When I unchecked it the issue disappeared.
