    Downloading Zip Files

I am attempting to download a zip file sent to me by email. Always worked before so I am puzzled. What is happening is that the download gets to the point where it shows that the file" has a few seconds to go." It stays there and finally after a very long time shows "failed". Thanks for any help. I am using firefox browser.

Maybe your antivirus is not happy about it and quarantines it but you don't list which one you use which could be helpful

Is the file you're downloading from a trusted source and did you confirm with them they sent it to you as ZIP files are often carriers of various nasties and if your AV is stopping it there would be a reason

Thank you Shimshom. Yes,trusted source, used literally over 1000 times. The file is actually an aircraft from Brazil for my simulator. I emailed the source with my problem and he sent me a link instead of a dropbox zip",with the same result. Must be his zip file problem,I guess because I can download similar files of the same aircraft from another source.

You're welcome and glad you sorted it out. So many nasties around today it's better to be triple careful as 1 second of carelessness can give no end of problems
