    User keyboard shortcuts in registry?

I can't find this information.. Where are the keyboard shortcuts we created in the registry? I use them to launch many apps. I just updated one and the keyboard shortcut associated to it is gone, yet i can't set it to the same.. Like Windows remember it but is hiding it..!

You could try a system restore mate and then upodate it again wortha shot and you have nothting to lose.

But one thing I do is back up the registry after an install and before I delve into it

Thanks for the advice, actually a reboot solved the issue.. But i'd still like to know where in the registry these shortcuts are located!

Ok well the best I could say is Google a query as to where short cut keys are located in Windows 7 registry - at least that is where I would start.
This is one I would be cluing up on How do I change the Windows 7 Keyboard Shortcuts - Microsoft Community for example.

I can't open the moment but it seems familiar.. These are stock shortcuts, isn't it? I'm talking about user shortcuts..

Generally one can't create a key shortcut that conflicts with a System shortcut, usually need a 3-key combination such as Ctrl+Shift+ the + or - key for turning an Adobe Reader document sideways. And many programs over-ride the System keys when they are running such as the Fx keys.

Well Berton is spot on there I was thinking if you could find the system ones that you may find the ones you created but as Berton has said - likely to create conflicts in a manner of speaking as any system stuff is done by MS and I personally could not do it myself as I am not into programming those sorts of entries just modifying them.
