What is the advantage of using "a bootable USB Flashdrive For Windows" compared to the use of original Windows DVD disk.?
None really. But many of the smaller and thinner laptops have no DVD drive. That's where a USB flash drive comes in.

BTW> It is easy to make an iso from and installation disk - e.g. with ImgBurn.

The one advantage I've found is speed. It's faster to install from a flash drive than a DVD.
